5G will not be so much a new phone network as it will be the data network for the Internet of Things. Still though, no one seems to have that understanding of 5G — it’s more typically thought of as “4G, but faster.”
The original client ask was for a series of talking-head videos in which engineers would explain the ins-and-outs of the coming 5G network, but we felt this was a better opportunity to illustrate something that’s otherwise invisible.
That’s how we wound up giving as full an explanation with visuals that were every bit as engaging as the tech itself.
